ADMINISTRATION

The administration of Zion Lutheran School rests primarily with the voting membership of Zion Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod. The congregation executes its will through the School Board, the chairman of which is elected by the members of the board. The principal, the executive officer of the school, works with the pastor and staff. The principal is directly responsible to the School Board, who in turn is accountable to the Voters Assembly. The calling and hiring of teachers, the establishment of the curriculum, and all major changes, are carried out only with the approval of the Voters Assembly and/or School Board upon the recommendation of the principal. Zion Lutheran School is the Church at work.

 

 

FACULTY

Our teachers are trained in elementary/secondary education. They are Christian teaching ministers, called by the Lord’s Church to assist parents in the responsibility of teaching their children God’s Word and about His world through academic studies. Our helpers also care about our children, helping them to reach their God-given potential.
