Zion Lutheran School Kindergarten through 8th grade will present "Once Upon a Parable" Thursday, May 17 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gymnasium. The musical tells a story of the life and ministry of Jesus by telling stories of His parables in drama and song. Hamburger and Hot Dog Meal will begin at 5:00 p.m. with lunchroom receiving the proceeds. Presales only by Thursday, May 10. PLEASE INDICATE THE MEAL YOU WANT and how many of each (See attachment – There has been a price reduction on the meal!)

Caring Place ministry opportunity: We are in need of volunteers to help us sort food received from the postal food drive. Last year’s food drive received 21,000 pounds of food. They are hoping to break that record this year. We are in need volunteers on Monday, May 14th, Tuesday, May 15th, Wednesday, May 16th and Thursday, May 17th. We have two shifts. The morning shift is 9:00am to 12:30 and the afternoon shift is 12:30 to 4:00pm. If you can help please let me know what day and shift you plan on attending. On May 26th, the 1st Annual sMiles 4 Sammy Family Fun Run/5K will be held in memory of our own Samantha Scott. This run will be held at Vista Ridge High School in Cedar Park and all proceeds from this event will be used to help build an all abilities baseball field in Williamson County for children with special needs.
