Welcome! If you do not have a church home, we cordially invite you to worship with us at Zion. Come and celebrate with us the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ. Our hope is that you will become a part of our church family and that you will discover the same joyful faith that is and has been ours since Zion founded in 1882.
All of our worship services at Zion are Christ-centered and Bible based. We gather to worship God because of Who He is and what He has done for all! Worship is God revealing Himself to us through His Word and Sacraments and our response, both privately and with other believers, expressed in and by what we say and how we live.
Sunday Worship Services Both morning services feature the same sermon with different worship styles. Our Sunday evening worship service features a sermon series on a book of the Bible or a Biblical topic and is different from the morning services.
8:00 AM – Traditional Liturgical worship featuring Zion’s custom-built, four-manual combination digital pipe organ. Dedicated on October 5, 1997, this state-of-the-art instrument has been called "one of the musical jewels of Central Texas and a must to experience."
10:45 AM – Spirited Praise worship led by Zion’s outstanding Praise Team featuring our Praise Band and Praise Singers. This service is marked by little liturgy and lots of singing. On months with five Sundays, the 10:45 service features Bluegrass Gospel music – a favorite at Zion!
6:00 PM – The name of this service is Revelation: Christ Revealed. This service features contemporary praise worship, teaching sermons by Pastor Jim and has a very casual worship format. Most folks come in shorts and t-shirts. This is the perfect service to invite friends and new believers to a simple worship service that celebrates the love of God..
New Sermon Series at 6 PM - Beginning February 19! Great families: Building your family on a strong foundation. Is your family built on a strong foundation? Would you like to improve the strength of your family and marriage? Enter the construction zone! You and your friends are invited to join us as God's Word blesses and encourages us to be strong and healthy in our relationships!
Communion is served on the 2nd and 4th Sundays in the morning worship services, the 4th Sunday at the 6 pm worship time. Nursery care is provided from 7:30 AM -12:30 PM for ages birth to 3 years. Sunday School and Bible classes for all ages are at 9:30 AM.
During Advent (the four weeks before Christmas) and Lent (the seven weeks before Easter) Zion has an evening worship service on Wednesdays at 7 PM.
