Bereavement: Mary Ellen Copado, mother of Lisa Henry, passed away March 12. Rosary service FRIDAY  at 7:30 p.m., at Our Lady Queen of Peace, LaMarque, TX. Funeral Mass Saturday March 18.

Quilts spread joy around the world. SUNDAY we dedicate more than 60 quilts that have been made for Lutheran World Relief. Thanks to the many talented hands that put them together.

New Member Welcome SUNDAY we welcome new families to Zion from 9:00-9:30 a.m. in the Gym. Refreshments provided by the Board of Stewardship. Families will be received during the 10:45 a.m. service.

Easter Lilies – Adorn our Sanctuary this Easter. Place your order for lilies on the form in the Narthex (or use attached form). Lilies are $8.00 and can be ordered until Sunday March 26. Checks payable to Zion Evening Circle.  You may designate in memory of, honor of, or to the glory of God on the order form. 

The Board of Missions would like to thank everyone who helped with the Spring Sausage Sale. Over $13,000 (profit) was raised to help with Zion’s local and global mission efforts.

The Board of Parish Education is excited to offer the congregation an opportunity to attend the Chris Tomlin concert, April 23 at 7:00 p.m. at the HEB Center in Cedar Park (formerly the Cedar Park Center). Group tickets will be ordered and the Board is lowering the ticket price to $20 for higher priced seating.  Deadline to sign up is April 2. Please Join Us!  TROOP 1105 will provide a Freewill Offering BREAKFAST Sunday, March 26 from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. Several Scouts and Adults in the Troop will be attending Philmont during the summer of 2018.  Your participation in this event is greatly appreciated. Easter Egg hunt, Sunday, April 16 9:30 AM. We are in need of candy to fill Easter eggs. Please bring candy donations by April 9. You can drop them off in the yellow tub in the Narthex.

Camp Lone Star - Zion Walburg Pioneer Camp is open to Zion members, Zion school kids, and friends of Zion (ages 8-18). Camp is offered June 4-9 and June 25-30 and costs $419 per camper. For more information, contact Kayla Winkler (254) 228-7252.

JOIN US FOR AN OLDE TYME SUNDAY - The Texas Wendish Heritage Society is hosting a day of food, fellowship and fun at the Texas Wendish Heritage Museum, Sunday March 26. At 10 a.m. Kilian Kaffe Klatch including dominoes, cards and children's activities. Door prizes every two hours. Refreshments at 11:30 followed by lunch: sausage, noodles, sauerkraut, green beans, beets, pickles, peaches, homemade bread, coffee & tea. Peach cobbler dessert. Lunch is a freewill donation. Brief meeting at 1p.m. with an 1800's Wendish Family of Gro? Dehsa, Saxony (Gruetzner's) as special guest. Dominoes, etc. played again from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. Non members are also invited.
